The Challenge
Renovation and Construction of mechanical and electrical/ lighting and low voltage systems in the baggage claim area of the Terminal Building. The project required performing all phases of construction in the busiest areas of the airport without any disruptions to the airport operations.
The Results
We performed much of our work at night to eliminate disruptions for patrons and operations. This successful scheduling allowed continuous uninterrupted airport operations.
The Skills
- Lighting Installation – the lighting system uses all LED fixtures, making the airport terminal very energy efficient.
- Over 100 speakers were installed to provide a comprehensive intercom and background music system throughout the airport terminal.
- Installation of Fiber-optic and CAT 6 cable for data and communications.
- We installed the Fire Alarm and Security Systems and assisted Simplex in programming.
