Windemuller Technical Services
We stand out from the crowd
Windemuller Technical Services has been doing business in Sarasota since 1984. However, our roots go back to Windemuller Electric of Grand Rapids, Michigan, founded in 1954 by Edward Windemuller.
Mr. Windemuller learned the electrical trade as a Marine rebuilding the island of Guam after WWII. Shortly after his honorary discharge from the military, he started Windemuller Electric working out of a relative’s chicken coop. From its meager beginning, Windemuller grew to one of the largest and most diverse electrical companies in west Michigan.
Today his daughter, Nancy Windemuller-Sedlar leads the way as President of Windemuller Technical Services. The Windemuller family has provided Florida with the best in electrical contracting and specialized technical services for over 30 years. We offer expert design, value engineering, installation and maintenance to protect the electrical structures and equipment on your property.
Windemuller Technical Services has successfully completed thousands of projects throughout the state of Florida, and we have earned an impressive list of satisfied clients in Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Englewood, Port Charlotte, and many other locations in Manatee, Sarasota, Lee and Hillsborough counties. We have partners all over the state of Florida, and we would welcome the opportunity to add your name to that list.

Windemuller is well known for expertise in Value Engineering. Value engineering is an organized effort to analyze designed building features, systems, equipment, and material selections for the purpose of achieving essential specified functions at the lowest life cycle cost consistent with required performance, quality, reliability, and safety.
In the design phase, properly applied value engineering considers alternative design solutions to optimize the expected cost/worth ratio of projects at completion. Value engineering elicits ideas on ways of maintaining or enhancing results while reducing life cycle costs.
In the construction phase, contractors are encouraged through shared savings to draw on their special ‘know-how’ to propose changes that cut costs while maintaining or enhancing quality, value, and functional performance.
