The Challenge
Building a facility of this size within 50′ of the ocean created many challenges. All electrical had to comply with local, DEP and FEMA building codes and regulations. To further complicate the project, turtle nesting season restricted our work schedule and the use of temporary lighting.
The building was constructed on pilings that were driven 80′ into the ground, and the interior was open beam construction, making it difficult to conceal our wiring.
The Results
Fins, a coastal contemporary restaurant with amazing views was completed on schedule and on budget.
